This of course is the date for the National Election or National Distraction, however, you may see it.
Quite unexpectedly I received a letter from our former PM addressed to me personally, and outlining the issues as he saw them. I was, of course, deeply moved that one so great should have gone to the effort of writing to me personally, and I felt duty-bound to respond.

The difficulty that this election has presented is that it seems to be a race to the bottom. Political diatribe has been marked by two forms of speech, namely Spin and Spite. Neither is overly edifying and seems to remind us of the passage from One Corinthians 13:1 namely - a noisy gong and a clanging cymbal.
